Keeper for a Day
This hands-on behind the scenes program is an amazing opportunity for those who love animals and want to know what it's like to care for animals. We have programs designed for children 6 to 12 and for adults. During this half day session you will work side by side with our Live Collections team, doing all their normal day to day activities, making bird food, cleaning cages, training birds etc� All participants receive a Bird Kingdom t-shirt, a certificate of completion and lunch in the staff lunchroom with the Live Collections staff! It's the real deal and a truly one of a kind experience. An amazing opportunity for any animal lover or bird enthusiast! Cost is $49.00 per participant. Join us every Tuesday for half price seniors day. Admission for those 55 years and up receive 50% off regularly priced admission. Enjoy our regular coffee & desert special in the Java House! Bird Kingdom is wheelchair and scooter accessible (except for the Java House, assistance is available). No reservations required.
